Organize and execute a community project involving Atlassian employees from various departments to support PAWSsion Project, an animal shelter in Manila.Project Summary:
This project brought together Atlassian employees across departments to contribute to PAWSsion Project in Manila. It focused on providing much-needed support to the shelter through volunteer work, donations, and raising awareness.
Recruited volunteers from different Atlassian departments, creating a cross-functional team passionate about animal welfare

Contacted PAWSsion Project to understand their most pressing needs, which included cleaning supplies, pet food, medical supplies, and volunteer assistance.
Implemented a fundraising campaign within Atlassian,
utilizing internal communication channels and online platforms to collect donations

Coordinated with PAWSsion Project to schedule a volunteer day at the shelter and confirm logistical details, including the number of volunteers, tasks, and necessary supplies.
Organized pre-event activities such as creating volunteer schedules, assigning tasks, preparing information packs for volunteers, and coordinating transportation.

Utilized internal communication channels (e.g., Slack, email) to promote the project, recruit volunteers, and generate excitement.
Created engaging content showcasing PAWSsion Project and the importance of supporting animal welfare.
Logistics & Planning: Developed a detailed plan for the volunteer day, including transportation arrangements, volunteer assignments, and a list of necessary supplies.
